Awardees will be paired with mentors who hold senior management positions within SSP member organizations. Mentors will help the award winners connect into the educational and networking opportunities available at the Annual Conference, which will be held June 2-4, 2010 in San Francisco.
“We are eager to bring new perspectives and ideas into the scholarly publishing community,” said Ray Fastiggi, President of SSP. “The Travel Grant program helps us realize this goal. The program will be beneficial not only to the professional development of the awardees, but to all the members of SSP who will be enriched by their participation in the conference.”
