Carol Anne Meyer joins Aries Systems Corporation
March 2008--Carol Anne Meyer has joined Aries Systems Corporation as Product Manager for its production tracking solution, Preprint Manager. As product manager, Carol will work with publishers to define the features and capabilities of Preprint Manager, determining methods to enhance it for tomorrow’s journal and book production workflows.
Prior to joining Aries Systems Corporation, Carol was an independent consultant for almost seven years. She has held previous product management and publishing positions at Northern Light, SilverPlatter Information, Little Brown, ACM, and Random House.

Tad Parker installed as Chairman of Printing Industries of New England
March 2008—Tad Parker, President, Odyssey Press, was recently installed as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Printing Industries of New England, or PINE. The installation occurred at the 120th Annual Meeting of the association.
"I am proud and excited to be able to serve PINE and its members in this capacity. I come from a lineage of printing Parkers that date back to 1908. PINE has been an important element in the running of our family businesses for decades," says Tad.
As Chairman of PINE, Tad will also be a member-at-large of the Board of Directors of the Printing Industries of America. Tad was elected to a one-year term.

Jeff Downing appointed Manager of Library Relations for Ingenta, Inc.
January 2008—Ingenta, Inc. has appointed Jeff Downing as Manager of Library Relations for developing its library business. Jeff, who holds his MLS from Indiana University, most recently held the position of Associate Director and Manager, Electronic Information Services with Amigos Library Service and will start at Ingenta in February.

Maney Publishing establishes North American operation
November 2007--Maney Publishing has announced the formation of the new company, Maney Publishing (USA), in Philadelphia, with Kimberly Martin recently appointed as Executive Publisher in North America.

International Digital Publishing Forum announces new Executive Director
November 2007--Michael Smith has been named the new executive director for the International Digital Publishing Forum (IDPF). As executive director, Michael will be responsible for leading the operational and strategic efforts of the IDPF and will report to its nine-member Board of Directors.

The Charlesworth Group announces changes
September 2007--The Charlesworth Group has announced that Richard Charlesworth, grandson of the company's founders, has joined the family business as Market Development Manager, China.
