Here’s a great opportunity to join our team, and have an important impact on our business! The position will work closely with the New York ELT publishing teams, with our sales operations in the US and Asia, and with ELT Division finance groups in Oxford, among others, to help us achieve publishing and operational excellence and deliver strong financial results to the Division.
Description
· Aid in maintenance of annual publishing plans and interim revisions.
· Interact with multiple departments and offices to aide in the creation of, or initiate financial analysis.
· Track and report results against budget
· Use analytical tools (database, statistics, and spreadsheet software) to understand and quantify risk factors.
· Identify value drivers and make recommendations to optimize productivity
· Support ELT Division business, operations, and finance initiatives in the
· Provide sales planning and reporting support to US and Asian Sales markets.
Requirements
· BS/BA degree in Finance, Accounting or Business related field with a minimum of 3 years of work experience.
· SAP experience a plus
· Motivated and highly focused with ability to drive projects, effectively manage time and multiple assignments to meet deadlines
· Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, strong mathematical and analytical skills, and attention to detail are a must.
· The ability to convey complex ideas and results of data analysis in thoughtful, clear and concise presentations is a key.
· Possess a strong commitment to internal customer service.
Success requires a detailed, disciplined approach to problem-solving, critical reasoning, and the ability to quickly understand and adapt to the evolving needs of the business environment and to communicate effectively.
